Before we begin

Frequently asked.

Do you shoot on film or digital?

Everything is shot digitally.

Do we need to pose?

Not at all. I'll gently guide you through the session with simple prompts and movement that feel natural and effortless. Instead of focusing on perfect poses, I focus on creating moments where you can simply be together. Most couples are surprised by how quickly they forget the camera is even there.

Will there be a second photographer at our wedding?

For full wedding day coverage, a second photographer is always included. I work alongside Herman, my husband, so you're not just getting extra coverage — you're getting a team that already moves together naturally and understands how to capture your day from multiple perspectives without interrupting it.

For shorter coverage, I decide on a case-by-case basis whether a second photographer is needed, depending on your timeline, location, and overall flow of the day.

When will we get our photos?

For couples and engagement sessions, your gallery is usually ready within 4 weeks, and for weddings it's around 8 weeks so everything has time to be carefully edited and come together in a way that feels complete and true to your day.

If you're booking full wedding day coverage, you'll also receive a sneak peek — 20+ images — within 3 days, just a few moments to relive right away while the full gallery is being prepared.

How will we receive our photos?

Once your gallery is ready, I'll send you a private online link with all of your edited images. From there, you can easily view, download, and share your photos with the people you love.

I always recommend downloading the full gallery and saving a backup copy for safekeeping.

Do you travel?

Yes, I do. I'm based in Sacramento, CA but travel often for weddings and sessions. Each location is a little different, so travel fees depend on distance and logistics. If you have a place in mind, feel free to share — I'll help you figure out what works best.

Can we get the RAW files?

RAW files aren't included. The images you receive are the finished photographs, edited in my style and ready to be enjoyed.

What is your cancellation policy?

The retainer is non-refundable, as it secures your date and turns away other inquiries. If your plans change, I'll always do my best to accommodate a new date whenever possible. Rescheduling is often possible depending on availability, and giving me as much notice as you can makes that much easier.

Everything is clearly outlined in the contract before booking.

How do we book?

Fill in the inquiry form on the Get in touch page. I'll get back to you within 2–3 business days. From there, we'll go over the details together — your plans, timeline, location — and once everything feels aligned, I'll send over your proposal with the contract and invoice. As soon as the contract is signed and the deposit is paid, your date is officially booked and we can start planning everything together.
